Initial version. This policy describes how the Multi-Inbox application handles information.

Who we are

Multi-Inbox ("Multi-Inbox", "we", "us") provides a web application that lets a user access and manage multiple email accounts from a single workspace. The operating entity and contact address will be stated here before general availability.

What Multi-Inbox accesses

Multi-Inbox is an email client. When you connect a mail account, the application accesses that account's messages over standard mail protocols (IMAP, SMTP and compatible APIs) in order to display and send mail on your behalf. Multi-Inbox is not an email-marketing or data-harvesting service.

What we store

Account connection settings you enter, so the application can reconnect to your mail accounts.
Application preferences, such as layout and display settings.
Temporary caches of message data needed to render the interface, which expire automatically.

Mail content is retrieved from your providers to display it to you. Multi-Inbox does not sell your data and does not use the contents of your mail for advertising.

Credentials

Mail-account credentials and tokens are stored in encrypted form and are used only to connect to the accounts you add.

Third parties

Your mail flows between Multi-Inbox and the email providers you choose to connect. We do not add third-party advertising or tracking to the application.

Retention and deletion

You can remove a connected account at any time, which deletes its stored connection settings. Temporary caches expire automatically.

Changes

We will update this policy as the product develops and will indicate the effective date here.
